IT Security Engineer

A company is looking for an IT Security Engineer responsible for managing the security of the IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administers security infrastructure including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion prevention systems

Ensures security configurations of key systems are implemented, monitored, and reported

Conducts risk assessments and compliance reviews for the organization

Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in Computer Science preferred

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT engineering

No specific certifications required

Ability to use limited independent judgment based on established guidelines

Working knowledge of technology, operations, and key business processes
