Security Officer I - Overnight - Naples

Arthrex is actively seeking an experienced Security Officer I - Overnight to join our team at our location in Naples, FL. The Security Officer I will work to preserve the safety and security of employees, visitors, and property per company policies and applicable laws. Within six months of employment, this individual will need to obtain a Florida Class D, Class G and a CCW permit as this position will require to carry a firearm. Strong problem solving, customer service, and communication skills required. Experience with MS Office and Access Control systems strongly preferred. Shift hours 12-hour shifts Thursday through Saturday, alternating Wednesdays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Maintain vigilance and manage authorized and unauthorized access to Arthrex facilities.
• Respond to emergencies such as medical, fire, theft, trespassing, and acts of violence.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Monitor facilities by physical and electronic means.
• Coordinate the activity of outside emergency personnel and equipment while on the premises.
• Facilitate communication regarding security policies and procedures across the organization to ensure cooperation and consistency.
• Provide assistance to contractors / visitors while ensuring adherence to all site policies and procedures.
• Identify and verify contractors / visitors information via system and / or badge access to ensure compliance to policies and security to Arthrex facilities.
• Follow specific instructions and designated guidelines for different types of visitors / contractors and events.
• Ability to share knowledge and train others when needed.
