Offering Assistance : Provide information about the store layout, department locations, promotions, or events. Answer customer inquiries or direct them to the appropriate personnel for assistance. Directing Traffic : Guide customers to available checkout lanes or self-checkout stations. Monitor queues during busy times to maintain efficient service. Providing Safety Information : Encourage adherence to safety measures and respect for personal space. Direct customers to hand sanitizer stations and other safety resources. Customer Engagement : Listen to customer feedback and communicate it to store management. Offer kind words and encouragement to enhance the shopping experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service. Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure. Basic knowledge of store layout and products. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods. Mobility to navigate the store and greet customers at various locations. Ability to lift and carry light objects, such as promotional materials. Retail environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Regular interaction with customers, team members, and management.
