Estimator

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be :

• Communication with sales and engineering regarding proposed projects and the scope of projects.
• Understand the scope of work to estimate the project accurately. This may include possible travel to customer site locations to gather first-hand information.
• Review and prepare detailed estimates using external and internal RFQ documents and specifications.
• Research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times, etc.
• Use software for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors and vendors.
• Generate BOM requirements.
• Generate equipment requirements and costs for project execution.
• Generate proposal documents and project timelines.
• Obtain pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.).
• Ensure timely completion of estimates.
• Create and submit proposals.
• Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons.
• Utilize NACS’s business procedures.
