About the Role :

Guardian Residential Services LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teacher Aide for in-home support for adults. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals with special needs in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities :

• Assist adults with special needs in daily living activities and personal care.
• Implement individualized education plans (ISP) and support learning objectives.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote independence.
• Facilitate engaging activities that enhance social skills and personal growth.
• Monitor and document progress and challenges in daily activities.
• Communicate effectively with families and other support staff.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for clients.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in education or related field is a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are essential.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
• Background check clearance is mandatory.
