This RN will play a key role in both clinical care and operational leadership at a Neuro Transitional Center, helping individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries recover in a home-like, rehabilitative environment. Working alongside the Rehab Residential Manager, you’ll help ensure patients receive high-quality, person-centered care, while also maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities : Assist with operations to ensure compliance with HHSC ALF Licensure, CARF , and other regulatory standards. Manage and audit medical documentation, including weekly MAR checks and EHR entry of physician orders. Provide direct patient care and manage PRN medical concerns to maintain patient stability. Serve as a communication liaison with physicians and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient safety and medical status. Oversee emergency preparedness, including drills, documentation, and training feedback. Participate in training, supervision, and ongoing competency assessments for residential care staff. Ensure residential staff adhere to treatment plans, activity schedules, and documentation procedures. Support operations by maintaining medical inventory and supplies. Participate in patient / family meetings, staffing, admissions, and environmental rounds. Investigate incident reports and follow up on issues as assigned. Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours staff support. Perform other duties as assigned by the Residential Manager.
