Cyber Security Engineer

Description

A leading financial services organization seeks a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen its hybrid and cloud environments. This position designs, configures, and sustains controls across Azure, on-prem infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure foundations for digital and AI-driven initiatives.

What You’ll Tackle

• Manage and optimize endpoint detection, DLP, and other enterprise security platforms

• Build and refine Azure security baselines, access controls, and network protections

• Embed automated security checks into CI/CD workflows (SAST, DAST, secrets scanning)

• Serve as a technical liaison with the managed SOC, tuning alerts and response logic

• Administer data protection and encryption services across cloud and enterprise systems

• Automate configuration and compliance evidence using PowerShell, Python, or Terraform

• Mentor analysts and guide teams on secure design and operational standards

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with EDR/MDR platforms and DLP policy configuration

• Solid understanding of Azure security and identity management principles

• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices, ideally with Azure DevOps

• Experience scripting and automating security tasks in PowerShell or Python

• Practical knowledge of incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks

• Strong collaboration, documentation, and mentoring skills

• AI security controls and/or DevSecOps automation experience

• Certifications such as AZ-500, CISSP, or GIAC

• Experience supporting audit readiness or regulatory reviews
