Geotech Engineer

Job Title : Geotechnical Engineer Employment Type : Direct Hire Location : Buffalo, Ithaca OR Rochester, NY (3 openings, 1 per location) Compensation : $90K to 100K / Annual GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER SUMMARY Field and reporting aspects of Geotechnical investigation, engineering and inspection including field investigation by means of drilling, test pit investigation and other in-field sampling methods. RESPONSIBILITIES Geotechnical laboratory analysis Evaluation and calculation of soil bearing capacity and other geotechnical parameters Evaluation of foundation types and design parameters Report Preparation and technical writing Construction Phase Testing Inspection and consultation QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering (required Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred; mid-level candidates (5–10 years) without a PE must be willing and eligible to sit for the exam 5–15 years of hands-on, relevant geotechnical engineering experience (mid- to senior-level) Valid driver’s license System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
