As a Security Guard - Flex Healthcare Facility in Falls Church, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment by offering outstanding customer service and strong communication, while embracing our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon01 : 45 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site procedures.
  • Support Allied Universal management and client staff with security-related tasks and / or special assignments as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to those on site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of required vaccines for hospital settings.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
