How A Lead Appian Developer Will Make An Impact
- Perform all phases of the software development lifecycle (Agile / DevOps)
- Lead / facilitate solutioning discussions with the customer and vendor
- Analyze user / business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
- Identify system interface requirements and develop solutions to meet the requirements
- Create a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
- Perform software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
- Provides analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
- Advise on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates
- May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals
- May serve as a team or task lead
- Ensure technical teams understand short term and long-term goals of the program and business efforts by facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Help clarify requirements and propose solutions that meet business milestones as well as directing the technical implementations
- Engage current customers to understand critical needs, socialize and vet solutions, and advise on strategies to achieve desired results
- Identify and select the best technical solutions and approaches to meet anticipated or actual requirements
- Will jump in when necessary to help diagnose larger system issues and work with project managers to confidently complete projects on time
- Additional tasks will include helping to determine high-level and detailed estimates, creating technical workflow and other supporting documentation to help drive the implementation of large enterprise systems projects as well as helping to implement best practices around technical development and deployment

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
