Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a dedicated property maintenance technician to join our hotel and restaurant team here at Charming Inns. The technician is primarily responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and repairs on our downtown Charleston hotels including the Wentworth Mansion, John Rutledge House Inn, Kings Courtyard Inn, and Fulton Lane Inn and and other special projects as assigned. This position will interact with property level employees, corporate senior management, and various vendors. Full Time and Part Time positions available.

Qualified candidates must:

1. Have experience in HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical and basic carpentry
2. Be able to perform preventative maintenance and repairs as well as general maintenance
3. Communicate professionally with guests, co-workers and vendors
4. Be available to work 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. including weekends and on call shifts.
5. Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Parking is provided. Full Time employees are eligible for medical, vision, dental coverage as well as short-term and long-term disability insurance after 60 days. All employees are eligible for holiday pay after 90 days and vacation and sick pay after 1 year.
