A Machine Operator C sets up and operates all fabrication and inspection equipment necessary to perform routine tasks.

2nd Shift - 2 : 30PM - 11 : 00PM - Andover, MA. This position is an onsite role.

What you will do :

Works to verbal, written, video and computer instruction.

Performs routine inspection using measuring equipment.

Responsible for filling and draining coolants and oils in equipment. Removes waste chemicals and residual metals per hazardoui; regulations.

Advances or retrieves product, material and tooling for self and others.

Simultaneously operates multiple pieces of equipment / processes.

Unpacks material, inventories and puts away material.

Marks, identifies parts as required.

Performs general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.

Maintains records, moves materials and follows safety rules in performance of duties.

Performs other similar duties as required or directed.

Machines, Tools, and Equipment used, includes but not limited to : Milling, drilling, boring and other equipment normally associated with a machining center. Standard inspection equipment and gauges. Deburring equipment along with general utility type equipment. Hardware installation tools and solder braze equipment.

Qualifications You Must Have :

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year experience in machine shop environment.
