Come join our team! Mobius is seeking a Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer. In this role you will facilitate the modeling simulation and analys i s of future concepts that shape the future of the Missile Defense System (MDS) and respond to Warfighter needs. This position is in Huntsville AL .

Duties of a / Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer may include :

  • Assess MDS threats capability gaps challenges needs and opportunities to develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level
  • Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above including analysis efforts on DoD High-Performance Computing (HPC) system
  • Develop analysis plans execute M&S to implement those plans assess analysis results prepare analysis briefs / reports and provide reviews of analysis products
  • Facilitate the definition / implementation of future concepts for modeling simulation and analysis
  • Act as a subject matter expert in future concept definition architecture analyses and reviewing preliminary results prior to delivery to customer

Qualifications :

  • Deep understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts
  • Experience in modeling assessment and evaluation of future missile defense architectures
  • Experience with MATLAB
  • Active TS / SCI Clearance.
  • Experience withthe definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architectures.
  • Experience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving both directed and kinetic energy weapons and other future concepts.
  • Experience with HPC Systems Python and Git.
  • Experience with BMD Benchmark.
  • Experience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activities.
  • Ability to perform technology assessment & analysis and provide insight on the utility of potentially useful technologies.
  • Specialized MDS analysis experiencein : threat characterization trajectories RF sensing / signatures and / or EO / IR sensing / signatures.
  • Proven ability to coauthornumerousreports and provide significant contributions to MDS studies and responses to Congress.

    • Education

  • Masters Degree in a STEM Field with 12 years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex large DoD program / project

    • Clearance

  • Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS / SCI.
