Compensation: $130,000 $180,000 + Benefits
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. This role will focus on building scalable AI/ML architectures, guiding engineering and data science teams, and aligning technical strategies with business objectives.
You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design, deploy, and optimize AI-driven products that deliver measurable business impact. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring onsite presence three days per week in Plano, TX.
Key Responsibilities
AI/ML Architecture & Solution Design
- Design end-to-end AI and machine learning architectures including data pipelines, model development, deployment, and monitoring
- Translate business requirements into scalable AI/ML technical solutions
- Evaluate and select appropriate AI/ML frameworks, tools, and cloud platforms
- Define best practices for model development, testing, deployment, and governance
- Ensure AI/ML systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable
Technical Leadership
- Lead and mentor data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers
- Provide architectural direction and technical oversight across AI initiatives
- Oversee integration of AI/ML models into enterprise applications and infrastructure
- Ensure alignment between business goals and AI/ML strategy
- Drive innovation through research and evaluation of emerging AI technologies
Engineering & Deployment
- Architect and implement ML pipelines and data engineering workflows
- Manage model lifecycle including training, deployment, monitoring, and optimization
- Implement CI/CD and MLOps best practices
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of AI solutions
- Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and application teams for seamless integration
Required Qualifications
- 12 15+ years of overall IT experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI, Data Science, or related field
- Proven experience as an AI/ML Architect, Senior Data Scientist, or ML Engineer
- Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar frameworks
- Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google AI Platform)
- Strong knowledge of data engineering, big data technologies, and data pipelines
- Programming expertise in Python, Java, or R
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD for ML workflows
- Strong architectural design and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

- Exposure to generative AI or agentic AI solutions
- Experience in large-scale cloud-native environments
