Key Responsibilities
Collaborates with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements, functional and/or technical requirements, including BRDs, mockups, mapping files, epics, features, and user stories.
Manages and prioritizes product backlogs and supports Agile ceremonies such as refinement sessions and demos.
Coordinates with dependent and external teams to manage cross team dependencies.
Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
Applies data governance principles to support business glossaries, data standards, and stewardship processes.
Assesses, documents, and synthesizes business needs to advance data governance and data quality capabilities.
Maintains and promotes key data governance assets, including policies, standards, and decision-making frameworks.
Develops KPIs and dashboard concepts to measure the effectiveness and ROI of the data governance program, with consideration for data catalogs and glossaries.
Facilitates adoption and effective use of data governance tools across business teams.
25% of travel required.
Skills Required
7+ years Business Analyst experience, ideally within data governance or data management.
Proficient with Agile, BPMN/UML/Flowcharts and SDLC methodologies with the ability to document requirements using use cases, user stories, high-level requirements, functional and/or non-functional specifications.
Hands on experience preparing BRDs, mockups, mapping files, epics, features, and user stories.
Solid knowledge of data governance concepts, business glossaries, data standards, and data quality principles.
Ability to work with cross functional teams and manage dependencies.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Working knowledge of SQL or Oracle for data queries.
Experience in building a product from the start to the end.
Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
MS Office (including Visio), JIRA or ADO
Preferred Traits
Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica EDC/AXON, or Atlan.
Prior experience supporting data catalog or data glossary initiatives.
Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP or similar).
Initiative-taking attitude.
Excellent people skills to effectively interface to customers, team members, and other colleagues.
Extraordinarily effective communication capability in English, both spoken and written.

Requires a degree and at least 10 years of related experience.
Qualifications
A candidate must understand business processes, be detail-oriented, customer-focused and able to quickly grasp new concepts. The person will have strong presentation, interpersonal, software development and work management skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $84500.00 - $126700.00/yr. We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
