Job Summary
Quality Control is responsible for greeting, directing, and assisting customers. Grading materials, identifying prohibited items, and coordinating with scale and equipment operators.
General Responsibilities
- Inspect inbound and outbound loads
- Material grading ensure products meet specifications and sort / separate accordingly
- Prohibited materials (sealed containers, hazardous materials, explosives, etc.)
- Direct and assist customers with material unloading
- Direct traffic effectively
- Communicate clearly and efficiently via radio to scale and equipment operators
- Use forklifts for unloading assistance
