Delivery Assistant

Classification : Non-Exempt

Reports to : Collections Manager / Store Manager

Job Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Delivery Assistant who excels in a fast-paced environment and values community service. If you are results-oriented with a strong work ethic and a passion for exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!

This is a full-time position with a consistent first shift schedule that may include weekend work. The role is physically demanding and involves heavy lifting, but offers a rewarding experience, especially suited for those with military backgrounds.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Provide exceptional customer service to all donors and customers.
• Assist the driver in maintaining donation boxes and donation station locations.
• Support special routes, including residential pick-ups, garage sales, estate sales, and fundraiser drives.
• Help with the placement and removal of collection boxes and trailers.
• Unload collections from vehicles at the conclusion of routes.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of donation sites and routes according to company standards.
• Work safely and efficiently while loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Adapt to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• Be prepared for physically demanding tasks, which can be rewarding.
