Position Summary :

V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking detail-oriented and compliance-driven candidates to serve as Health Licensing Specialist I in Washington, DC. The Health Licensing Specialist I will support credentialing and licensing processes for healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Requirements :

  • Education : High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration or related field preferred)
  • Certification : None required (credentialing or compliance certifications are a plus)
  • Skills & Abilities :
  • General understanding of healthcare credentialing processes
  • Ability to manage and verify applications, reappointments, and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Proficiency in using databases and credentialing systems
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines and facility policies

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain regular cooperation and compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and membership-based organizations
  • Implement credentialing processes for physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure adherence to departmental policies, facility guidelines, and government regulations
  • Review credentialing applications and paperwork for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain and update databases with healthcare professionals’ training, education, certifications, experience, and licensure
  • Use designated systems to enter and manage credentialing data
  • Support ongoing compliance efforts and assist with audits or reviews as needed
