Responsibilities :
We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Senior Investment Research Associate to join our Investment Management team. This role focuses on conducting fundamental research as a generalist across equity and debt securities, with near-term potential to assume sector coverage and opportunities to collaborate with our Quantitative Research team. This position offers a career path toward becoming a Portfolio Manager.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct fundamental research on and international securities, including analysis of growth drivers, earnings quality, and valuation.
- Evaluate company-specific events, industry trends, and broader market developments for potential impact on portfolio holdings.
- Synthesize research findings and present analysis and recommendations to the investment team in both written and verbal form.
- Actively participate in portfolio review discussions as a member of the investment team.
- Contribute to client reporting communications and participate in client meetings.
- Collaborate with the Quantitative Research team on multi-disciplinary approaches to security evaluation.
- Leverage internally developed AI tools to enhance research efficiency and accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications :
Strong academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business / Data Analytics.Pursuing CFA designation (completion of Level I preferred) or CPA license.– years of relevant professional experience, such as equity research, investment banking, Big accounting, or other related field.Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proven ability to work well on teams, self-motivated, showing initiative and embracing anenvironment of continuous learning.
High proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of PowerPointExperience with SQL, Python, R, or other quantitative analysis tools.Familiarity with Bloomberg, Eikon, or comparable third-party financial platforms.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business / Data Analytics.
