As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Patrols in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will play an important role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a busy healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the facility, and providing exceptional customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 11 : 45 PM - 08 : 15 AM

Tue 11 : 45 PM - 08 : 15 AM

Wed 11 : 45 PM - 08 : 15 AM

Thur 11 : 45 PM - 08 : 15 AM

Sun 11 : 45 PM - 08 : 15 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and / or evacuations, in accordance with site procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as required to address security-related concerns.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with staff, patients, and visitors in a healthcare setting.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
