Position Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Sales Estimator to join our growing team. This role combines business development, estimating, and project coordination. You’ll work directly with clients to scope projects, prepare bids, and see awarded jobs through.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the asphalt and concrete markets.
- Perform job walks and assess project requirements.
- Prepare accurate takeoffs, estimates, and detailed proposals.
- Communicate directly with clients to clarify scope and present options.
- Obtain and compare subcontractor and vendor pricing.
- Track bids, proposals, and awarded jobs through CRM tools.
- Support project alongside operations with clear budgets and documentation.
- Maintain current knowledge of production rates and cost data.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and profitability targets.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in construction estimating or sales (asphalt / concrete preferred).Strong understanding of materials, methods, and costs related to paving and concrete.Skilled in reading plans, specifications, and takeoff software (preferred).Excellent communication and organizational skills.Self-motivated and comfortable working in a hybrid environment.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field—or equivalent experience.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the Front Range.Preferred Experience
Proficiency with Bluebeam, another estimating tools.Knowledge of CDOT and municipal specs, ADA compliance, and site grading / drainage standards.Compensation & Benefits
