A company is looking for an Actuarial Analyst I responsible for providing data and analysis to support key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develops actionable recommendations and calculates profitability reports
Performs regular and ad-hoc analyses to improve efficiency and evaluate assumptions
Participates in cross-functional teams and prepares monthly IBNR reserve calculations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, or a related field
Strong database experience (SAS or Access) preferred
Managed care or healthcare experience preferred
Minimum of one exam passed under the Society of Actuaries Exam Syllabus
Active pursuit of an actuarial designation (ASA) required
