Position Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Database Engineer to join our dynamic this role you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining our database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This position requires a deep understanding of database architecture cloud computing and data management.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Design develop and maintain highly scalable and reliable database solutions.
  • Manage and optimize PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases for performance and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain cloud-based database solutions primarily on AWS.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Ensure database security backup and recovery processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate database technology within our infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on database design and architecture.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in database technology.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Database Engineer or a similar role.
  • Must have experience with SQL Server or Oracle database PostgreSQL is a nice to have.
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services related to database management.
  • In-depth understanding of SQL and database programming.
  • Experience with database design tuning and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with data security backup and recovery methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Must be located in AZ IN or NY and be willing to commute into the office 3 days a week.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Certifications in PostgreSQL SQL Server or AWS.
  • Experience with other database technologies and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python Java or C#.
