Summary
The Territory Sales Manager will report to the RVP and be located in the Tampa, FL area. This position will have regular interaction with national manufacturers, local distribution partners and target end users. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for developing and establishing sales relationships throughout the area of responsibility.
Please Note : Only candidates located in the Tampa, Florida area will be considered for this position.
Duties
- Accountability for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Distribution and end-user territory management.Increase sales and improve customer service to existing account base, while prospecting new customers and growing market share within the designated territory
- Proactively listen to and understand the customer’s needs and identify viable solutions and business opportunities
- Obtain and maintain excellent product knowledge in order to present full product line.
- Communicate throughout the internal organization and with key manufacturing partner personnel
- Strong pipeline management skills to summarize accurate forward-looking estimates of sales volume by product category and manufacturer
Requirements
BS in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent of 5+ years of outside sales experienceProfessional Value Based Selling experienceDemonstrated track record for past sales growthIndustrial and / or construction outside sales experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsExceptional computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Ability to travel up to 15% of the time outside of local territory for meetings, special customer visits, etc.Nice To Haves
