About the Role :
This position will be responsible for all Health Care Professional (HCP) and patient marketing activities for the launch of Neurocrine products in the US. Leads the brand team in the development and execution of marketing strategies and programs, and collaborates closely with cross‑functional partners to ensure a successful commercialization in support of business objectives.
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to) :
Serves as the brand lead for the commercialization team and contributes new ideas and approaches to ensure successful commercialization of new productLeads the development and execution of the brand’s operational plan, including business planning activities, budgeting, strategy, and marketing communicationsServes as a subject matter expert for the product, market and treatment landscapeFosters strong partnerships with strategic marketing, medical affairs, market access, sales, legal, regulatory and other functions to ensure aligned objectives and implementation of brand strategiesLeads team in development and implementation of innovative HCP and patient programs platforms, including personal and non‑personal programs and peer‑to‑peer HCP educationDrives creation of US HCP & consumer‑facing print and digital materials for field useUnderstands key market trends and competitive environment to drive proactive strategies to maximize brand potential; Leverages market insights and research to drive growth and strategic directionServes as marketing representative on promotional review committee for brand. Ensures timely and efficient review of promotional materials and complies fully with all legal, regulatory, ethical and company guidelinesManages external agencies to ensure successful execution of marketing programs aligned with brand strategic imperativesManages / controls the brand operating budgetBuilds relationships with thought leaders, advocacy groups and local / national organizations as needed to grow industry awarenessAt all times, ensures compliance with all corporate polices, regulations and lawsSelects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the functionOther duties as assignedRequirements :
BS / BA degree in scientific or business discipline AND 15+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years of strong marketing and / or sales experience in a pharmaceutical market. Experience managing outside agencies (creative & media), design firms, and internal teams to execute brand and strategic marketing direction. In‑line brand marketing experience, including commercial launch. ORMaster's or MBA degree preferred AND 13+ years of related experience ORPhD AND 10+ years of related experience ORExtensive previous managerial experiences also requiredThorough understanding of the brand development processStrong leadership attributes to generate commitment and constructively resolve issuesMust be comfortable leading teams in a fast‑paced, consensus style environment; must operate cross‑functionally in pursuit of business goalsAble to travel 25‑30%Recognized as an internal thought leader with extensive technical and business expertise within a strategic organizationApplies in‑depth knowledge of own function, business / commercial / scientific expertise to solve critical issues successfully and innovativelyEvaluates key business / scientific challenges and completes complex, ambiguous initiatives having cross‑functional impactNeurocrine Biosciences is an EEO / Disability / Vets employer.

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $195,400.00‑$266,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties / requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 35% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long‑term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver / parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
