Registered Nurse-Review Analys

Our Client, a Health Insurance company, is looking for a Registered Nurse-Review Analys for their Detroit, MI location.

Responsibilities:

• The RN Analyst Reviewer role encompasses the processing of inpatient admission requests utilizing InterQual criteria to determine the medical necessity of an inpatient status.
• The RN Review Analyst will perform admission approvals, admission denials per MD decision, telephone triage, and benefit interpretation.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree or nursing diploma required.
• Two (2) to four (4) years patient care experience which may include acute patient care, discharge planning, case management, utilization review, etc.
• Expertise in the use of medical terminology
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite including Teams
• Prior post-acute patient care experience
• Triage, case management or utilization review experience
• InterQual knowledge
• Experience with Clinical Care Advance
• Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma
