Trillium is seeking a Health & Safety Manager in Lemont!

This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join our expanding team of driven, skilled, and committed professionals. The Health & Safety Manager will play a key role in driving a strong, proactive safety culture, overseeing daily operations, and conducting regular site visits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Occupational Safety and Health and take pride in building safe, efficient, and motivated teams. We're looking for a leader who thrives in the field, enjoys mentoring others, and brings passion to every project they touch.

Responsibilities :

• Lead by example as a servant-leader, inspiring a strong safety mindset across client project sites with 100+ employees.
• Partner with the Director of Safety and site teams to develop, implement, and maintain effective safety programs that promote continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular jobsite audits to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company safety standards, clearly communicating expectations and corrective actions.
• Oversee safety documentation, including safety binders, permit packets, records, and training logs, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Manage maintenance, inventory, and calibration of safety equipment and gas monitoring devices in coordination with internal departments.
• Facilitate new hire orientations, refresher courses, and hands-on training; lead toolbox talks and support industrial hygiene testing when necessary.
• Mentor and support field personnel to strengthen safety awareness, accountability, and performance across all levels.
• Maintain reliable attendance and uphold company safety standards while ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.

Schedule is 1st Shift, Monday to Friday. Pay is $108,000 base salary with bonus potential up to $140,000 annually.
