Application Development Project Manager

Opportunity

Application Development Project Manager – join Booz Allen Hamilton to help clients achieve mission objectives by developing efficient, effective software from vision to production‑ready in an exciting, agile environment.

In this role, you’ll manage the delivery of the most advanced digital solutions. You’ll work closely with clients to use the latest architectural approaches and open‑source frameworks and tools to deliver complete end‑to‑end solutions. You’ll guide the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress while bringing people together to make a tangible difference.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT, software engineering, and systems engineering
• 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
• 5+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
• Experience with Kubernetes deployment and infrastructure implementation or Appian development platforms
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, product management, and software products
• Experience leading and overseeing development activities with status briefings delivered to leadership, stakeholders, and project teams
• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Compensation

Salary range : $86,800.00 – $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Full‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
