Process Auditor

Overview

Responsible for analyzing current processes, assessing compliance with set standards and regulations, and identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancing efficiency. This position requires interaction with employees at all levels of the organization as well as client representatives, vendors, and other business-related representatives. Location : This position can be located at one of our office locations daily : Fargo, ND; Indianapolis, IN; or Phoenix, AZ.

The MasTec Renewables market sector is part of the MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure business segment. Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions :

• Assist Quality leadership in preparation of the Process Audit Plan including establishing audit objectives, scope, and planning work on assigned audit segments
• Assist Quality leadership in determining records or activities to analyze and the working papers to prepare
• Perform routine internal audits of operational processes and systems to verify compliance to company policies and quality standards
• Identify areas of process inefficiencies, propose innovative solutions for continual improvement, and assist with implementation of solutions
• Analyze the effectiveness of existing internal controls
• Perform risk assessments and assist in the development of preventive measures to manage risks
• Recognize and communicate with auditees on what is working well in their processes
• Hold preliminary discussions of deficiencies with appropriate personnel to verify and obtain information on the cause(s) or contributing factors for each deficiency and document responses
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement
• Complete and present audit reports to management
• Assist with audit follow-up and / or verification of the effectiveness of improvements
• Other duties as assigned
