  • Weekly Salary Range : $2100 - $2250 per week (estimated)\n

  • Location : Portland, ME 04102 – Discover Maine nursing jobs in a city renowned for its vibrant culture, scenic waterfront, and historic charm.\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Level One Trauma Center Operating Room (26 beds, 1 : 1 patient ratio)\n
  • Assignment Duration : 13-week travel contract (Start : 11 / 30 / 2025 – End : 2 / 28 / 2026)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Weekend Requirement : 1 in 4 weekends\n
  • Call Requirement : One overnight trauma call (11 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM); additional specialty team call as scheduled\n
  • Employment Type : Travel nursing contract\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – required for all U.S. nursing jobs\n
  • Minimum 3 years of Level 1 trauma operating room experience\n
  • Proficiency in Robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomies, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomies, Cystectomies, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopies, and Ureteroscopies\n
  • Experience caring for patients across the lifespan : pediatrics to geriatrics\n
  • CNOR certification preferred\n
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR and surgical equipment (Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot)\n
  • Strong teamwork, flexibility, and accountability\n

    • \n\nKey Responsibilities for OR RN\n \n

  • Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for gynecologic and genitourinary surgeries\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a high-stress trauma setting\n
  • Demonstrate advanced skills in surgical technologies and robotics\n
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse age groups\n
  • Participate in trauma and specialty team calls as scheduled\n
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR\n
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and dress code (teal scrubs provided)\n
