About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Radiology MD in Asheboro, North Carolina, 27203!

Mammography Specialist, delivering expert breast imaging services alongside general diagnostic radiology and light interventional radiology (IR) support with fluoroscopy supervision

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (Onsite)

📋 Key Responsibilities :

Breast Imaging :

3D mammography

Digital mammography

Breast ultrasound

Stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies

Fluoroscopy Procedures :

Supervise and assist diagnostic & therapeutic procedures (3–4 / day)

General Diagnostic Radiology :

Conduct and interpret X-rays, CT scans, MRIs

Light Interventional Procedures : (5–6 / day)

Image-guided biopsies and drainages

Kyphoplasty

PICC line placements

Paracentesis and thoracentesis

Requirements

Board Certification – REQUIRED

BLS / ACLS Certified – REQUIRED

Active NC Medical License & DEA – Verbal confirmation required (clean file)

Provider must have clean professional files to be considered
