Sonoran Roots is looking for a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Harvest Operations Associate .

Sonoran Roots is a vertically integrated, craft cannabis company headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. As an independent and locally owned company founded by Arizona natives, Sonoran Roots maintains a focus on producing high-quality, clean, and compliant cannabis products for its customers.

The company owns and operates three cultivation facilities (Mesa & Tempe), a state-of-the-art extraction lab (Tempe), and well-established retail dispensaries (Glendale, Chandler, Phoenix, Queen Creek, Mesa, Flagstaff, Tucson). Our family of brands is well known for quality in the Arizona market and includes Sonoran Roots Cannabis, Canamo Concentrates, and Ponderosa Dispensary.

ABOUT THE POSITION :

The Harvest Operations Associate is responsible for participating in various Harvest Operations : pre-production, production, and post-production.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

This role serves as a support system where labor is needed for the key components of Harvest

Operations.

Pre-Production :

  • Prepare fresh frozen bags
  • Set up all production areas the day before harvest

    • Production :

  • Fresh Frozen Bucking

    • Participate in bucking

  • T able / Processing

    • Participate in packaging and vacuum sealing product

  • Hanging

    • Assist Dry / Cure Operations with hanging.

    Post Production :

  • Ensure all production areas are properly broken down
  • Ensure all post-harvest cleaning tasks are completed
  • Assist Inventory with finalizing processing

    • Minimum Qualifications (Required) :

  • Attention to Detail : Ensures accuracy in bucking, packaging, and vacuum sealing processes.
  • Time Management : Efficiently completes tasks within strict timelines.
  • Team Collaboration : Works effectively with team members and communicates clearly with

    • supervisors.

  • Adaptability : Responds well to changing production needs and maintains performance in a

    • fast-paced environment.

  • Work Ethic : Demonstrates reliability, consistency, and a strong commitment to completing

    • all assigned tasks.

  • High school diploma or GED.

    • Additional Qualifications (Preferred) :

  • Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal).
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Cannabis-related education.

    • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :

    Pay Rate : $15.00 per hour
