  • Assure all information is correct and signed accurately in the closing documentation, third party orders, closing packages, and loan files
  • Review all closing conditions are satisfied and executed according to closing instructions
  • Ensure loan closing is progressing while working in tandem with the loan processor and loan officer or funder, from origination to close
  • Affirm loan compliance with all investor product and program guidelines and policies, as well as state and federal regulations
  • Prepare and execute the transfer of lender funds for disbursement

  • Proactively engage Buyer Leads generated by EmpowerHome Lead Generation pillars, presenting the value of working with EmpowerHome Mortgage in conjunction with EmpowerHome Teams, and scheduling appointments to complete and / or review loan applications submitted.
  • Maintain accurate calendar availability, blocking when not available to take appointments that are booked by the EmpowerHome Inside Sales Department.
  • Complete telephone, mail-away, and face-to-face Loan Applications with clients and approve loan disclosures for distribution to clients. All required fields in the application must be completed, including all third-party information, before approval.
  • Determines proper program placement of a loan file (i.e., FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, etc.).
  • Price,s loans, and lock rates as per Company policy.
  • Review returned applications and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Runs AUS and reviews findings and required documentation.
  • Prepares requested Pre-Qualifications as per Company policy. Orders credit reports, appraisals, and title requests. Conducts regular follow-ups with clients and referral sources.
  • Maintains regular communication with applicants throughout the processing period, assisting them with any questions and notifying them of any additional information required.
  • Submits the loan file, allowing for stated turn times.
  • Maintains a pipeline of all loans in process, tracks their progress, and meets all contractual deadlines.
  • Meets or exceeds minimum production requirements.
  • Completes annual Business Plan and meets regularly with the Branch Manager.
  • Keep informed of trends and developments in the local real estate market and competitive environment, as well as changes in rules and regulations pertaining to private and government-insured mortgages.
  • Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Reports to the Branch Manager. Qualifications :
  • Over 2 years of experience in lending or funding with credit unions, banking, or financial services are accepted, but real estate mortgage loan closing or processing experience is preferred
  • Candidates must be proficient with MS Office, lending or title software, NMLS experience is desired
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are desired
  • Understanding of loan products such as Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA; as well as knowledge of mortgage industry regulations from origination to post-closing is essential
  • GED or high school diploma is required, Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Proven ability to read, write, and communicate at a level consistent with the requirements of this position and to generate independent leads for new business and professionally communicate with existing and past clients.
  • Working knowledge of standard loan products in the industry and strong familiarity with underwriting guidelines.
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred).
  • Fair Housing regulations : 1 year (Preferred).
  • Sales : 2-3 years (Preferred).
  • Loan origination : 1 year (Required). Compensation : $100,000+ at plan commission
