Senior Content Producer – Derflan, Inc.

Derflan is seeking a Senior Content Producer to join our consulting team supporting a global consumer technology client in the smart home and connected device ecosystem.

This consulting role will focus on production support, content facilitation, and cross‑functional coordination across video, photo, and social creative workflows. The ideal consultant brings deep experience in content production pipelines, UGC sourcing and clearance, and managing highly confidential assets within secure environments. The role is hands‑on, operational, and requires exceptional organizational skills, communication, and stakeholder management.

Location & Contract

Onsite in Hawthorne, California – 6‑month contract (chance of extension).

Compensation

$140,000 USD plus full benefits (annualized equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a production facilitator supporting internal creative, editorial, PR, and social teams across multiple content streams.
• Support video, still, and social content production while ensuring secure workflows and strict confidentiality standards.
• Coordinate user‑generated content acquisition, including outreach, clearance, rights management, and legal compliance.
• Manage content pipelines across pre‑production, live shoots, and post‑production, ensuring on‑time deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to move work efficiently through reviews, approvals, and delivery workflows.
• Maintain tracking systems, file management, and asset organization with accuracy and version control.
• Provide administrative and operational production support: scheduling, documentation, and communication.
• Recommend workflow improvements and explore AI tools to enhance efficiency.
• Use CRM tools such as Salesforce to track engagement and manage content requests.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Film, Media Production, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years supporting a large global technology company (e.g., Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Meta).
• 5‑7 years producing or facilitating video, still, or social content.
• Expert understanding of video production processes: concepting, shoot coordination, post‑production.
• Strong familiarity with still image production for digital and packaging channels.
• Experience with UGC sourcing, rights clearance, and licensing best practices.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information and follow secure workflows.
• Working familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments while managing multiple priorities.

• Creative agency or brand production experience.
• Background in content licensing or business affairs.
• Strong understanding of post‑production and retouching workflows.
• Experience supporting content at scale for major global consumer brands.
• Ability to drive efficiency and simplify operational processes.
• Self‑starter with strong ownership and accountability.
