Role involves floating between units and facilities within a 35-mile radius based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity. Travel assignment with hours from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, with every other weekend preferred. Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start. Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start for all licensed professionals. Completion of FACIS Questionnaire if any disciplinary actions exist. Completion of Ascension Color Vision test prior to start and updated every 3 years. Completion of Ascension Core Competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics within a year of start and updated yearly with minimum 80% score. Completion of Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation prior to start. Completion of Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding onsite. Completion of Ascension Nova StatStrip prior to clearance. Completion of Ascension Cerner Test-Out with signed attestation. Documentation of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted. Fit Test required annually, preferred prior to start. Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or declination signed and dated. Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement. Positive IGRA or PPD results with negative chest X-ray within a year and annual TB questionnaire. Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually. Valid Driver's License or State ID matching address on file. 2 Step PPD or IGRA within specified timeframes prior to start. Documentation of two Varicella vaccines or serological evidence of immunity; no declinations accepted. Valid Tdap vaccination within 10 years; no declinations accepted. Completion of Ascension Profile (resume or profile). At least two professional references prior to first assignment. Completion of Ascension Criminal Background Check including SSN trace, employment verification, OIG search, and National Sex Offender check within 30 days of first assignment. Completion of Ascension EPLS check within 90 days of start. Completion of Ascension Skills Checklist within one year of start and updated annually. 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually. Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start. Ascension Confirmation of Assignment documentation upon initial assignment and updates upon extension. Third-party employment verification for past seven years, updated annually. Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM. Preference for every other weekend coverage. Floating between units and facilities within a 35-mile radius based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity. Travelers will be notified before scheduled shift if floating is required.
