Entry-Level Water / Wastewater Engineer
We are currently seeking an entry-level water / wastewater engineer in our Newport News, VA office. Responsibilities will include water and sewer modeling, water and wastewater facility evaluation, design, and construction administration.
Requirements :
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 0-4 years of water / wastewater design experience.
- Understanding of or experience designing water and wastewater facilities including pipelines, pumping systems, and treatment systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, Bentley MicroStation and water distribution and sewer modeling software a plus.
- Relevant internship experience required for new graduates.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
- Passing grade on the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or EIT preferred.
