Video Editor

We’re partnering with a leading industry company to find a talented Video Editor to support a creative team. This on-site opportunity is expected to last between five and nine weeks, with the potential for permanent placement afterward. The role involves crafting engaging video content for various digital platforms and maintaining high standards of post-production quality.

The application deadline for this role is 12 / 20 / 2025.

Hourly pay range is $40 - $45 per hour, and it requires the contractor to be on-site M-F (no hybrid, no remote).

Video Editor Responsibilities :

Collaborate with senior team members to develop and refine video content for social media / digital campaigns, brand films, and other marketing materials.

Handle media management tasks including importing, transcoding, syncing, and organizing footage according to project workflows.

Create initial story assemblies and edit sequences based on scripts and creative briefs, adhering to established timelines.

Support with basic post-production tasks such as color correction, audio balancing, and adding motion graphics under supervision.

Manage project files meticulously, ensuring easy access and proper storage across shared and cloud systems.

Video Editor Qualifications :

Over three years of practical experience in video editing or related post-production roles.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with knowledge of After Effects and other Adobe Creative Suite tools a plus.

Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Experience working with various camera footage types, including ARRI, RED, Canon, and Phantom.

Knowledge of video codecs, editing workflows, and troubleshooting common post-production issues.
