My Client, who is located in downtown Chicago, IL, has an immediate requirement for a Project Structural Engineer with Construction Administration experience.  Your daily responsibilities will include design / analysis of vertical structures.

Must have minimum of 8 years' experience within the United States in Buildings, no bridge experience.

Responsibilities / Requirements :

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering, required
• PE Licensed Engineer, preferred
• Minimum 8 years' experience as a Structural Engineer - design and calculations (working with Architects)
• Experience in Construction Administration :   managing projects, coordinating with contractors, working with Architects
• Experience using ETABS, RISA or similar analysis software; AutoCAD / Revit experience
• Experience in the design of vertical structures (Hi-Rise, Educational, Government, Healthcare, Hospitality, Industrial, Renovation)
• Strong technical experience in the design of steel, concrete, and / or heavy timber structures
• Oversight and detailing of projects being managed
• Good verbal and written communication skills
