As a valuable member of our Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and systems. Your Role Will Include :
Using hand and power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices.Ensuring the safe operation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Following blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, and engineering specifications.Troubleshooting equipment issues through observation and precise measurement and testing.Conducting testing on boiler chemicals and wastewater pre-treatment systems and making necessary adjustments.Executing daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and performing required repairs.Recording and analyzing utility meter readings and taking corrective actions as needed.Performing routine inspections and maintenance on motor belts, fluid levels, and filters.Cleaning and lubricating equipment parts according to work procedures.Utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System.Completing other duties as assigned by leadership.What We Seek :
A high school diploma or GED is required.A two-year technical degree is preferred.Must be at least 18 years old.A valid driver's license with a safe driving record is necessary.Knowledge of maintenance equipment is expected.At least 6 months’ experience in repairing industrial processing equipment is required; applicable military experience is welcomed.Successful completion of UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment test is required for employment.Ability to read blueprints and schematics is necessary.Proficiency in reading maintenance literature in English is required.Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, are important.Lockout / Tagout experience is a must.Willingness to work overtime as needed.Capability to lift up to 80 lbs.About UniFirst :
