Accounting Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will handle essential financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and record journal entries to maintain organized and accurate financial records.
• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and ensure account accuracy.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and address accounting-related inquiries.
• Monitor and verify invoices, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
• Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to streamline financial operations and reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data in all accounting activities.
• Perform additional tasks to support the accounting department as needed.

Requirements - Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
