We are seeking a candidate with strong DDR / StepMania rhythm-gaming skills, ideally at an Intermediate to Advanced level. A passion for gaming, particularly movement-based gameplay and emerging interaction technologies, is essential. You should be at ease in front of the camera, whether recording, speaking, or demonstrating gameplay. Excellent written communication skills for responding in forums, documenting product notes, and reporting issues are necessary. Additionally, you must be able to collaborate effectively with our product, marketing, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities :

• As a DDR / Active Gaming Tester & Community Engagement Specialist, your primary tasks will include rigorously testing the GAMR gaming mat across a range of games, including DDR, StepMania, and various rhythm and exergaming titles. You will assess gameplay responsiveness, latency, sensitivity, and overall user experience, identifying bugs and collaborating closely with the engineering and product teams to resolve these issues. Your role will also involve recommending improvements in controls and gameplay optimizations while benchmarking performance across multiple platforms, including PC, mobile, smart TVs, and future AR / VR systems.
• In terms of content creation, you will record high-quality gameplay videos using the GAMR mat and capture product photos in various play scenarios. You will collaborate on marketing campaigns, social media reels, user challenges, and activations aimed at boosting engagement.
• Your community and customer engagement responsibilities will include actively participating in DDR and rhythm gaming forums as both a player and product advocate. You will respond to customer inquiries, providing clear insights into mat features, setup, compatibility, and best practices. You will share insights, react to player feedback, and help foster a loyal user community, as well as assist in developing FAQs, help documents, and engaging social media posts.

This is a contract position with a pay range of $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. The work location is remote, allowing you the flexibility to engage with our gaming community and contribute effectively from wherever you are.
