Full-time/Days at Corona Regional Medical Center located in Corona, Ca
The Chest Pain Center & STEMI Program Manager is responsible for the daily operational activities of the Chest Pain & STEMI centers. Operational responsibilitites include: Appropriate strategic planning, communication, collaboration, generating a smooth workflow for both staff and patients, effectively communicating standards and expectations to the multidisciplinary team, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating all aspects of care/services delivered. The program manager is a strong leader who is responsible to ensure quality metrics are met including outcomes measurement, patient safety, and patient experience metrics. Developing strong relationships with primary customers is a key responsibility and assuring that services are provided timely and according to standards is essential. Interacts in a professional manner with all key stakeholders including cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, physicians, nursing staff, radiology technicains, EMS personnel and and other supportive team members. Assures HIPAA privacy, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards are met. Manages data and grows the service line with the goal to be recognized for outstanding performance. Performs other management functions such as performance improvement, timekeeping, and other duties as assigned.

Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 2 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a -bed community hospital network comprised of a -bed acute care hospital and a -bed rehabilitation campus. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Ability to use Medical/radiologic diagnostic/therapeutic equipment, standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier), and computer and software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, timekeeping, e-mail)
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Registered Nurse or Radiology Technician with at least three (3) years’ experience, Unit leadership as charge nurse or manager preferred.
Experience in critical care, emergency department required.
3-5 years acute hospital experience caring for patients of varied acuity levels in multiple settings.
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
Master’s degree in related field, preferred
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Registered Nurse or Radiology Technician with current license to practice in California
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by American Heart Association
Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certification by American Heart Association
Bachelors Science in Nursing, preferred
Master Science in Nursing or related, preferred
Specialty Certification, preferred.
