Emergency Medicine Physician

SMART is actively recruiting for EM locum physicians for coverage in Kansas City, MO. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed.

Shifts: 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am
No call

Details:
The hospital is 500-bed
Level I Trauma Center and also claims a Level 1 Stroke Designation.

Emergency Department Profile:
46,000 annual patient visits
Level I Trauma Center
40-bed ED including Rapid Care Path
40-hours of physician coverage daily
48-hours of APP coverage daily
Meditech EMR
Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. (ABMS, AOA)

Additional Details: They will take FM or IM; however, they MUST be EM Boarded with 5 years of recent EM Experience. Since the ACS does not recognize the ABPS, they will no longer accept this certification.

ACLS, PALS and NIHSS required.
ATLS preferred NOT required for ABEM providers.
