What we are looking for :
The Entry-Level Quality Control Associate supports the company’s quality assurance program by inspecting materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in preventing defects, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe, compliant manufacturing environment.
What you will do :
- Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections of materials and finished products to confirm specifications and industry standards are met
- Observe manufacturing processes and work with production staff to ensure adherence to established protocols and standards
- Work with production staff and other departments to implement quality control procedures and resolve quality issues
- Verify that processes and products comply with industry standards, regulations (such as ISO), and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Identify defects, communicate the results of inspections and report quality concerns to supervisors
- Maintain records of all quality control activities, ensuring they are accurate and follow good documentation practices.
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
- Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
- Sort and segregate defective material for return, replacement, or disposal (scrap)
- Keep measuring equipment by following operating instructions and calling for repairs and / or calibration
- Maintain a safe work environment by following standards / procedures and comply with legal regulations
- Complete required training and certifications
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed :
High school diploma or equivalent1+ year experience in manufacturing, production, or quality inspection preferredAbility to read and interpret specifications, drawings, work instructions and measuring toolsBasic math and measurement skillsStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyComputer literacy, including proficiency in MS OfficeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentUnderstanding of manufacturing methods and proceduresForklift Certification is a plusBenefits we offer :
