Pay Rate : $42.5-$44/hr ON C2C

Must have skills :

• Background in FEA or CFD a plus

Nice to have skills :

• Ability to Read & Understand engineering drawings
• Preparation of CAD drawings (2D and 3D)
• Knowledge of Engineering Mechanics & Strength of Materials
• Strong background in ANSYS
• Strong background in NX
• Strong Analytical skills
• Strong Knowledge of GD&T
• Very strong mechanical engineering analysis and design background
• Excellent communication and coordination capabilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review base materials/treatments, specifications and customer requirements
• Perform required stress analyses on component and assembly levels as required
• Create and release stress reports
• Create drawing update justification reports
• Update drawings in NX
• Follow drawing update and approval process in PLM tool
• Act as subject matter expert to the analysis and design teams when required
• Report project status during regular internal and external meetings. Typical reports would include updates on project status, assumptions, information needed, and overall program health
