Field Service Management Configuration Analyst - Work from home

This position supports ongoing efforts and various one-time initiatives for the Field Service Management (FSM) system that serves multiple operating companies (Op Cos). This role advises the Inspection & Service Operations team to execute technical solutions that meet business requirements. This person will assist the team in breaking down business requirements into technical deliverables that are scalable and sustainable. They will provide technical oversight to support the SaaS-based FSM solutions. Lastly, this position works alongside team members to support daily operations within the FSM and associated systems.

Duties include :

• Serve as subject matter expert of the configuration and technical integrations of FSM & associated systems, including end-user use of system, configurations, and business processes within the system
• Lead the M&A configurations in the FSM
• Serve as a point of escalation for requests requiring a higher degree of technical expertise or discretion to resolve issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Facilitate maintenance of system data, working with data analysts to support reporting requirements
• Advise FSM Support Specialists on applications and systems as necessary to ensure configurations meet end user needs and users are utilizing the system appropriately
• Ensure shared knowledge and documentation of system architecture and configuration as well as scalability and sustainability of configurations and integrations
• Support testing and QA / QC efforts to verify functionality through proven test scripts
• Engage the user community to support Operating Companies’ use of the system through training, support, standard processes, and feedback loops
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :

• BS / BA in field related to computer science, information technology, business or other relevant business application is preferred but less significant than other requirements listed.
• History of managing modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintaining program libraries and technical documentation
• Excellent analytical skills and aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Strong character, ethics, commitment, and reliability
