[job_card.job_description]Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2 years of applied experience Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot for building microservices and RESTful APIs Proficiency in React (JavaScript and / or TypeScript) to build responsive and dynamic user experiences Hands-on experience with AWS services like ECS Fargate SNS SQS RDS Postgres Experience in developing debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment specifically within an Agile / Scrum environment Solid understanding of CI / CD pipelines and automation tools Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize both frontend and backend components Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.) Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and design patterns such as micro frontends Exposure to cloud technologies AWS Certification(s) (Associate or above)

As a Software Engineer II - Java & React Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Develop micro-frontends using React providing intuitive responsive and dynamic user interfaces
- Develop microservices using Spring Boot ensuring the application is secure performant and scalable
- Work with AWS services such as ECS Fargate RDS Postgres SQS and SMS
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design development testing deployment and maintenance
- Collaborate with product owners designers and other developers in an Agile scrum environment and implement features
- Write clean maintainable code that adheres to coding standards with a focus on performance security and scalability
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
- Troubleshoot debug and optimize applications to meet performance and reliability requirements
- Continuously learn and implement best practices for software engineering micro-frontends microservices and cloud-native development
