Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:
Understand business and system requirements and develop:
o System architecture
o High-level design documents
Define:
o Non-functional requirements
o Capacity planning
o System integration approaches
o Solutions to key technical problems
Drive the project to ensure implementation aligns with approved architecture and design by conducting:
o Design reviews
o Code reviews
o Support for performance testing
Define and manage:
o Deployment strategies
o Rollback strategies
o Migration strategies

Technical / Functional Skills:
Must have hands-on development and design experience.
Proficient in Core Java and J2EE technologies.
Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications is preferred.
Strong knowledge of:
o Web services
o JMS
o LDAP
o Security concepts
Experience working in a senior designer or architect role in previous assignments is preferred.
Knowledge of frameworks, including:
o Struts
o Spring
o Hibernate
Exposure to integration technologies, such as DataPower.
Sound knowledge and experience working with enterprise database products, such as Oracle.

Experience Required
8+ years of relevant experience.

Generic Managerial Skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Self-driven and eager to scale up and take on increased responsibilities.

Education
Engineering degree required.
