Contract Specialist
As a Contract Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the IT department, focusing on cleaning up quotes, contracts, and software management. You will manage the end-to-end process of contracts, including negotiations, signature processes, renewals, and extensions, ensuring continuity and efficiency in services. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can navigate existing services, handle renewals, and follow up with vendors effectively.
Responsibilities include overseeing the clean-up of quotes, contracts, and software in the IT department, managing end-to-end contract processes, ensuring continuity of services by handling renewals and invoices effectively, following up with vendors, and managing certificates of insurance (COI). Maintaining attention to detail and focus on the complete cycle of contract management is essential.
Essential skills include proficiency in purchasing, procurement, and contract management, experience with IT procurement and data entry, strong skills in Adobe and Microsoft Office, and at least 3 years of experience in IT, finance, contracts, or procurement. Additional skills and qualifications include an associate's degree, a high-level understanding of services, and no specific certifications required for this role.
This position operates within a standard office environment with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The role involves the use of Adobe DC and Microsoft software.
This is a contract to hire position based out of Portsmouth, VA. The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $87,000.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
