THE JOB
The Forest Hill, MD branch is looking for a Sales Representative / Branch Manager to lead, rebuild, and grow the operation. The branch is currently in a turnaround stage, and the incoming leader will be responsible for driving top-line sales, hiring and developing a small team, and expanding the customer base throughout the greater Bel Air / Baltimore region. This is a hands-on, field-oriented role that blends outside sales leadership with day-to-day operational oversight.
Key responsibilities :
- Oversee all branch operations with full P&L accountability.
- Drive new business development through prospecting, cold calling, door-knocking, and winning contractor accounts.
- Recruit, coach, and mentor inside sales, counter staff, and drivers.
- Manage pricing, quoting, inventory, warehouse logistics, and delivery operations.
- Increase revenue through consistent outbound activity, exceptional service, and strong relationship building.

Proven success in B2B field sales with branch, territory, or P&L responsibilityHands-on leadership experience in distribution, building materials, or similar tradesDemonstrated ability to hunt and secure new business through proactive outbound effortsExperience hiring, coaching, and developing small teamsWorking knowledge of pricing, inventory management, logistics, and delivery coordinationStrong communication and relationship-building skillsEntrepreneurial, self-driven, and highly persistentThrives with autonomy and leads from the fieldHigh integrity, accountability, and resilience; motivated by profit-sharing incentivesPreferred backgrounds :
